Tesla has introduced a new vehicle in the line which is said to be the top in line. On November 21, 2019, Elon Musk unveiled the Cybertruck at the Tesla Design Studio in Log Angeles.
The car is the masterpiece in the line of Tesla’s electric vehicles. With an excellent robust design, flexible features and high performance the car has been very popular since the day of its reveal. It’s a six-seater four-door vehicle with plenty of room for storage. Along with superb storage capacity, the car has a strong towing capacity.
Versions of Tesla Cybertruck
Cybertruck is currently available in three versions based on the motor, speed, towing capacity, EPA range, and additional features.
Single Motor RWD

- Drive Train type – Tri motor all-wheel drive
- Towing capacity – 14,000 lbs (6,350kg)
- Top Speed – 130mph(210km/hr)
And within 1.5 days of unveiling the concept Electric Truck to the world, Tesal Inc received a mind-boggling 1,46,000 pre-orders. About 42% of customers choose the dual motor configuration, 41% choose Tri-Motor configuration while 17% of customers booked a single motor version of Tesla Cybertruck.
Features of Cybertruck
Cybertruck vehicle frame which Tesla calls as Exoskeleton is polygonal in shape built with an exterior shell made for ultimate durability and resistance. Every component is designed for superior hard strength and endurance, from ultra-hard 30X stainless structural skin to Tesla armor glass.
The exterior design of the cybertruck is made up of Ultra-Hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel which helps eliminate dents, damage, long-term corrosion & maximum protection. The stainless steel sheet metal is bullet-resistant & can withstand against a 9mm caliber bullet.
The glass of the cybertruck doors is made up of Tesla Armour Glass which is Ultra-strong and polymer-layered composite that can absorb and redirect impact forces.
The vehicle has a ground clearance of 16”.
The cybertruck features a 17-inch center display & resembles all features like the rest of the Tesla cars. The vehicle has four side doors and consists of 3 rear seats and three front seats. The middle front seat can be rolled & folded to make it as an armrest. And a rear automatic sliding door that acts as a cover for the storage at the rear of the vehicle.
All versions of Cybertruck have a 100 cubic feet of storage space. Additionally, the car has an under-floor storage space behind the rear wheel.
Additional Features of Cybertruck
The Tesla pick up truck includes an on-board power inverter for supplying 120 & 240-volt electricity, which allows using power tools without any need for generators. The truck also consists of an air compressor for powering pneumatic tools. This makes Tesla cybertruck a perfect vehicle for various applications.
The vehicle has exceptional towing power and it varies with different versions of the truck. The pick-up truck is capable of pulling loads up to 3,400kg to 6,350kg.
Price of Cybertruck
Single Motor RWD – $39,900
Dual Motor AWD – $ 49,900
Tri-Motor AWD – $69,900
Although there is no official detail about Cybertruck warranty and battery capacity retention details at the end of the warranty period. But Tesla provides a limited warranty of 4-years or 50,000 miles whichever comes first for all of its vehicles.
The Cybertruck has been named as the ” Concept Car of the Year” for 2019 by Automobile Magazine in January 2020.
