Yes, Lamborghini’s latest in the line the Aventador S is a stylish, magnificent art of engineering and technology. The Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A) company, based in Sant’Agata Bolognese is an Italian brand that manufactures luxury cars and SUV’s.
The Lamborghini Aventador S was officially unveiled at Geneva motor show in March 2017 however its first look was unveiled at the Sant’Agata factory in 2016. The car belongs to the luxury sports class and is an enhanced version of the old Aventador with increased performance and exterior looks designed by Lamborghini’s head of design Mitja Borkert. The new enhanced version has a V12 engine that is capable of producing 740 hp with a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) with increased technological features.
The engine bonnet, spoilers, rear air inlets are made up of carbon fiber and other car panels are made up of aluminum and synthetic material. The rear spoiler is electronically operated in a 3 variable position. The mirrors are foldable and electrically controlled.
The all-new design of the Aventador s is a magnificent work of Lamborghini’s Head of design Mitja Borkert. The shape of the car, particularly the front end is designed & shaped to resemble the shark to relate to its strength & elegance on road. And the exhaust pipe’s hexagonal design resembles the power of a space shuttle. The Aventador S is designed for maximum output levels the car can give with its V12 super engine.

The Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) with a variable steering ratio gives a smooth steering experience just like flowing water. The hydraulic assisted power steering makes it possible to change the direction od the beast at maximum speed. The control system of the car which is ABS and TCS integrated is handled by Lamborghini’s Electronic Stability Control. It has a Pushrod front suspension and rear suspension with horizontal dampers and springs. The geometry of the suspension is Double wishbone fully independent suspension.
The heart of the car is powered by a V12 engine with a multipoint injection system giving a maximum displacement of 6.498 cm3 ( 396.5 cu in). The bore of the engine is 95 mm and stroke 76.4 mm producing a maximum power of 740 CV that is equal to 544 KW at whopping 8400 rpm. At 5500 rpm the engine gives a maximum torque of 690 Nm (507 lb-ft). Its weight to power ratio is 2.13 kg/CV (4.69 lb/CV). The lubrication od the engine is of Dry sump type with emission standards of Euro – LEV 2 class.
The electronically controlled all-wheel-drive transmission system with mechanical self-locking differential helps in the easy transmission of gears with a swift. The gearbox has Independent shifting rods with 7 speeds.
Along with super speed and stylish features the safety of the car is not compromised as it is provided with multiple airbags for driver, passenger along with side and Knee airbags for specific markets. For additional safety, the Electonic stability control and a side protection system is provided.
The front brakes are cross-drilled with 400 mm diameter and 38 mm thickness and rear brakes are cross-drilled with 380 mm diameter and 38 mm thickness that is made up of Carbon ceramic discs ventilated and with fixed calipers monoblock in aluminum with 6 pistons for front and 4 pistons for the rear.
The Aventador S has a top speed of 350 km/hr ( 217 mph) and can reach acceleration 0-100 (0-62 mph) km/hr in just 2.9 seconds. This top speed of the Aventador Model S is slightly less than Lamborghini’s Aventador SVJ and Roadster. But Lamborghini’s Aventador class luxury cars have variable specifications & thus vary in speed in acceleration.
Further, the car can reach the acceleration 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 8.8 seconds, 0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) in 24.2 seconds & after braking the car stops from 100-0 km/h (62-0 mph) in a span of 31 meters.
